I’m Lindsey, a 23-year-old American willingly living in a country in which being 15 minutes late is the norm, even though I’m rarely later than five minutes early to anything in my life. I’m an award-winning journalist, blogger, international freelance writer, Mizzou journalism alumna (MIZ!), amateur explorer, and southern girl with a constant craving for Tex-Mex.
I’m genuinely curious about the world, which feeds my need for travel and writing.
After studying abroad in Milan for three months in 2014, I fell in love with the graffiti on every building, the inefficiency, chaos, and unnecessary hand gestures accompanying every conversation. I decided to head back across the pond for grad school, and I’m looking to stay in Europe after completing my degree.
Life in Milan has been hilariously interesting and I anticipate it will continue to be so. I mean, I sport Old Navy dresses and Target sandals to Fashion Week in the Fashion Capital of the World. You can take the girl out of Arkansas…
Anyways, I’m glad you’ve decided I’m worth a few minutes of your Internet time. Feel free to subscribe, contact me, or simply browse. Arrivederci, y’all.
